Based on your personal experiences, what are some of the things medical professionals say that they don’t really go into detail about, but yet most people would take them as a form of the absolute truth?
I’m not out to bash medical professionals, but I’m here to do a deeper analysis of the statements that they do make.
One example would be a medical professional saying that post-menopausal women ought to take more calcium to protect against osteoporosis, but yet the mechanism behind how we lose bone mineral is much more complicated than just a calcium issue.

The overwhelming medical consensus still regards the appendix as a vestigial organ rather than a safehouse for commensal bacteria.
